Kentuck Art Festival – October 21 & 22, 2017

The 46th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts returns to Northport, Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017. This is your chance to experience nationally and internationally acclaimed folk artists who work in a variety of mediums. There will be art-making activities for the kids, demonstrations by expert craftspeople and two full days of musical acts to enjoy.

Kentuck Art Center

The festival is held every year at the Kentuck Art Center located at 503 Main Ave., Northport, AL 35476. The Kentuck Art Center is a community funded art center whose mission is to connect artists and the art they produce with local and surrounding communities. The Art Center offers exhibitions, classes, and art for sale at the Kentuck Gallery Shop.

The Kentuck Gallery Shop features works from more than 180 artists from around the region and all across the country. The Kentuck Art center also features working artists’ studios and a clay co-op. The clay co-op gives potters from all skill levels a chance to work with like-minded individuals in the community.

The Kentuck Art Center is also the home of the Museum Gallery which holds Art Night the first Thursday of every month. Art Night showcases new exhibits at the gallery and is a great way to keep up with the latest works by local and regional artists.
